The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
