Iran States It Could Return to American Atomic Discussions provided that Treated with 'Respect' and 'Honor'

Tehran is prepared to resume atomic negotiations with the United States as long as it is treated with "respect" and "respect", Tehran's foreign minister has announced.

Abbas Araghchi declared only diplomacy produced results, and shared fresh requests had come from mediators to resume discussions with the US government. He claimed Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Tehran could not yet permit the global atomic watchdog to inspect attacked atomic facilities for security reasons.

Earlier Discussions Suddenly Concluded

The prior phases of negotiations between the US and Iran were ended suddenly and hostile termination on 12 June when the Israeli government, with Washington's assistance, struck Iranian nuclear sites in a fortnight-long engagement that culminated with the American leader claiming the facilities had been destroyed. Afterward, Western states used their right to restore global restrictions, but Iran maintains they have not had a major impact.

Perfect Agreement Offered

Iran's diplomats stated they felt they had attained a "magic solution" to the uranium processing matter in prior discussions, when it was agreed an Iran-based consortium with Washington's engagement could enrich uranium. Each party would have been able to claim victory since domestic enrichment would have continued and the US could be certain that Iran's enrichment initiative was entirely non-military.

It had not been settled in the discussions that US nuclear scientists could work inside Iran, but that was a logical implication of the consortium proposal. Officials stated repeatedly they had secured an understanding with the US representative Steve Witkoff only for the deal to collapse due to "spoilers in Washington".

Present Status

Tehran representatives said the cooperative arrangement was now off the table, but it seems very probable the offer could be resurrected in various formats if negotiations resume.

He stated the assaults started with a Washington's ultimatum for an unconditional Iranian surrender and culminated with an unconditional call for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is certain the first strikes by Israel were executed with complete American awareness and cooperation, making faith hard to reestablish.

Dialogue Continues the Primary Answer

Araghchi stated: "Tehran was not the one that had deserted dialogue; it was America and the western countries that had consistently attempted to enforce their demands during the talks. Diplomacy can still be alive and continues the primary resolution to address conflicts, but its requirements, guidelines and principles must be respected."

Repair and Recovery

In what is characterized by Tehran representatives as the battle of restoration and reconstruction, Araghchi said he was confident Iran's defence capabilities "are considerably enhanced than prior to 13 or 14 June of this year.
